The inventor of 123invitation.com is a danish woman. During her 16 years in the travelling industry, Charlotte Boisen has arranged several events and is truly a party eccentric herself.

"I have always loved to arrange parties and the preparation is at least as fun as the party itself ".

Some years ago I got the idea to gather my old colleagues from KILROY travels Denmark. It was not easy to find all 160 e-mail addresses of my former Kilroy colleagues. But subsequently it was even harder to keep track of who was attending and what they were doing at the moment.

I asked all of them to describe shortly what they were doing at the moment, and arranged for all other guests to receive this information.  This was well received as everybody thought it was very exciting to learn what their old colleagues were doing now and were they were situated.

The party was a great success, and I received many e-mails asking for e-mail address of other guests and pictures from the party.

And then I thought that there was no reason for me to be the connecting link.
Why isn´t there a website where all this can be done automatically and easily?

One month later, my husband and I held a big garden party in connection with The Royal Wedding in Denmark, where both men and women should be all dressed up. Again I had the same need for an easier solution.

Once again I sent out all invitations by e-mail, and I had to keep track of all guests who accepted in a spreadsheet. When I wanted to share the pictures from the party by e-mail, half of the e-mails were rejected either because the guests´ mailboxes did not allow enclosures or because they could not handle pictures. It was very tiresome and convinced me even further that there was a need for an easier solution.

Even though I am a novice on the internet the result after 6 months hard work was 123invitation.dk. One year later we are launching the english version and hoping it can help and assist people worldwide in arranging parties, etc.

I have made use of 123invitation.dk when it was time for committee meeting in the daycare center, when my newborn son was to be baptized and to show the diary and pictures of our children to friends and family.

I have aimed to make the website very user-friendly and kept pop-up advertising away.
